Data and user visibility

One of the biggest problems we hear from our customers is that they can’t “see” what their end users are doing!

They know how many entitlements have been sold to a customer, but not how many are actually being used.

They know how many features are on an account, but not how many are being accessed, and when.

They know their partners are selling their products and services, but not the actual utilization rates of the end-users.

If you were able to get better visibility into what your end customers are doing, what would you want to “see”? Why?

Great question Rick. The companies I talk to even have this problem with SaaS web based applications and platforms. This is perplexing to me. I though SaaS made it real easy to see what customers are using. What is missing?

Jim, thanks for dropping in. Data and reporting as a feature in EMS was introduced with version 5.3 back in the summer of 2021. This is where you can aggregate the data for presentation on such variables as periodic entitlement utilization, and make reporting available in such platforms as PowerBI.

But we’re developing another initiative as well relative to the ability to put individual EMS account data into the hands of a customer’s sales teams with availability within the customer’s CRM. This is in development and should be released later this year.
